Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets reasonable boundaries for using GapCheckUK. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions.
1. You must not
- use the service to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or facilitate harmful activity;
- attempt to access another account, bypass authentication, probe security controls, or interfere with the service;
- upload malware, malicious code, unlawful material, or content that you do not have permission to process;
- use automated requests, scraping, or bulk activity that places unreasonable load on the service;
- misrepresent assessment results as certification, legal advice, audit evidence, or regulatory approval; or
- use the service to store information that is unnecessary for the assessment or creates avoidable risk to individuals.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your organisation has a lawful basis and the necessary permissions to submit company information, personal data, documents, and evidence. Use redacted or less detailed evidence where it demonstrates the same control.
3. Reporting concerns
Report suspected security issues, unlawful content, or misuse to GapCheckUK at GapcheckUK@gmail.com. Do not attempt to investigate or access information that does not belong to you.
4. Enforcement
We may restrict, suspend, or close access where we reasonably believe this policy or the Terms & Conditions has been breached, or where action is needed to protect users, the service, or third parties.
