This policy explains how GapCheckUK uses cookies and similar browser storage on its website and application. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. Essential storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep the service working. This includes authentication sessions, security functions, cookie-consent preferences, temporary free-check progress, and local fallback or demo data. These functions cannot be switched off through the consent banner because the service would not work correctly without them.
3. Optional analytics
GapCheckUK does not currently run a separate optional product-analytics tracker. If optional analytics or personalisation is introduced, the service should update this policy, identify the providers and purposes, and request consent before setting non-essential technologies.
4. Managing your choice
When the consent banner is shown, you can choose “Essential only” or “Accept all”. You can also clear the GapCheckUK site data in your browser to show the consent banner again. Blocking essential storage may prevent login, saved assessments, or other account functions from working.
